SWEET GARLIC CHICKEN

I love adding sweet with savory dishes.  This is very simple to make and has an sweet garlicky sauce.  Yum!
Serves 6 to 8

INGREDIENTS
2 lbs. boneless chicken thighs or breasts  (remove skin, healthier option)
3 tablespoons Ghee or butter 6 cloves garlic minced
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon dried sweet basil
1/2 teaspoon rosemary
Salt / Pepper to taste
2 tablespoons fresh parsley

INSTRUCTIONS
I just keep the chicken in the pan when I add the garlic.
Preheat oven to 375 f
Heat butter in oven safe skillet (like cast iron pan) and add chicken.  Brown all sides.  Fry for about 5 to 7 minutes.  Just to brown it, NOT to cook it.  Add remaining 2 tablespoons of ghee or butter, Add garlic stirring frequently until fragrant about 1 to 2 minutes.  Remove from heat and add syrup and spices until well combined.  Place in oven and roast until chicken is completely cooked through.  About 20 to 30 min.  This should be not pink in meat.
